An inspection report is a written report that your home inspector will provide you after completing your home, cottage, component or outbuilding inspection. The report will include details and photos of any issues that need attention and their potential impact. Severity of issues will also be highlighted, so you know which concerns (if any) need to be expedited. We are always happy to answer any questions you have about your report and ensure you understand it fully!

The cost of an inspection varies greatly depending on many factors involved. By filling out our Free Quote Form, you will provide us all the details we need to provide you with an accurate quote within 24 hours (Monday-Friday). Your quote will cover all expenses incurred for the inspection including the inspection itself, travel costs (depending on location) and taxes. Have questions about your quote? You are encouraged to be present for the home inspection. Sometimes, clients opt to include their buying or selling agent as well. We encourage clients to ask questions along the way.

If you are in need of an urgent inspection (home, cottage, component or out building), contact us using our contact form, or by calling or emailing to schedule an inspection ASAP. We will do our best to accommodate as fast a turn around as possible. Depending on location we can sometimes accommodate same-day inspections. The duration of your inspection will depend on several factors including size of the home and components that are being inspected. However, most inspections range between 1-4 hours. We can usually provide an approximate estimation of inspection duration once we receive the details provided in the free quote form.

We are based in Hamilton, Ontario; but we service all of Southern Ontario and parts of Northern Ontario. We are happy to service distant locations, with the understanding that this may impact service times and travel costs.

To book an inspection, start by completing our free quote form. Be sure to include your availability and any timeline details in the “notes” section. This form will provide us all the details needed to quote your inspection and book it properly. We will email you with your quote and booking option within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).
Fees & Payment
Quotes
Clients will receive a FREE quote before their inspection is booked. This quote represents the total fee that will be due on the day of the inspection.
Payment
On the day of the inspection, payment will be due upon inspection completion. The final inspection report will not be provided until payment is received in full. Payment can be made in the form of cash, check or interac e-transfer. A receipt of payment will be provided with your report.
